QVF Software Release 2.93
QVF Software release 2.93 was released yesterday afternoon. Changes include:
ability to use QVF, EPB, and EPL on a Windows 8 computer/laptop
changed the effective registration date for any voter flagged Military or Overseas in their voter record to waive the 30-day registration requirement
changed the EMP ePollbook download to a .zip file format instead of an executable file format - this change should decrease error messages from anti-virus software
requires users to create an encryption password when downloading the EPB versus defaulting to QVFSecure08
added two additional screens to the EPB install process (in preparation for future EPB changes)
placed the 'allow the recording of absentee ballots' checkbox on the select inner precinct box
The Electronic Pollbook User Manual has been updated to reflect the changes. Pages 11, 12, 14, 15, and 37 were modified, which also required page 24 of the Electronic Pollbook Election Inspectors Manual to be updated. And lastly, the Elections Management Portal Manual was updated on page 24.
